Inspired by the poetry of Jaik Josephson, the work of American artist and social activist Keith Haring and the events of the AIDS plague, As Though I Had Wings, is an exploration of the equation silence = death, this world premiere is a collaboration of original music by Shirley and Will Grieson, live upright bass performed by Ashley Au, video by jaymze, poetry by Jaik Josephson and of course, some song and dance by WCD artistic director Brent Lott.
