SAMARCANDE is simply about resilience. In parallel the resilience of artists and the resilience of Samarcande, an extraordinary city and its tumultuous 2751 years of history. This is not an attempt to visually describe the city as it is or was, but to capture the myth contained in the poetry of its name.
