No, not that kind. Our seats take you to exotic locations through your mind's eye.

Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers is upgrading The Rachel Browne Theatre and part of the adventure is a new riser and seating system. To assist us in this endeavour WCD is launching an Adopt-A-Seat campaign.

  • $250 will affix your name for ten years to one of the new deluxe seats in the theatre.
     
  • You can name the seat for yourself, your family, in memory of a loved one, or in the name of your business venture.
     
  • Every seat sponsored will receive a charitable tax receipt for the full amount.
     


Naming a seat will not only assist WCD but will also support the dozens of other organizations that use The Rachel Browne Theatre each and every season. Last year over 12,000 people enjoyed various performances in this venue.

Name plates can consist of up to 2 lines of 20 characters each. Additional text or businesses that wish to incorporate a graphic logo may be accommodated for an additional fee.  Some restrictions apply.

To sponsor a seat you can phone us, you may order online, order by mail or drop by in person at the office.

Please make your safe and secure credit card payment through Canada Helps.org.   Please be sure to spell out the name you want on the sponsor plate in the message section by telling us what it should say on line 1 & line 2.

You can also drop it off in person at 211 Bannatyne Avenue on the 2nd floor.  If you are travelling far or out of your way you might want to phone us first.  With errands before a show and special projects we are not always around.
